Endpoint configuration assurance

Endpoint Configuration Review

Determine whether selected endpoint settings support the intended security outcome on one named device.

Published package price and scope. Availability, authorization, and final applicable terms are confirmed before work begins; public self-registration is not currently available.

Service overview

A bounded service for a specific decision.

This package reviews up to five agreed configuration-evidence items for one named endpoint. It is useful for a focused assurance question—for example, whether selected operating-system, encryption, access, logging, or security-tool settings align with the intended baseline.

The review is evidence based and does not require TechGeeks to deploy an agent or make live changes. Conclusions are limited to the device and material supplied or demonstrated during the accepted service window.

What this service clarifies

Three questions the work is designed to answer.

The package stays useful by keeping the evidence, output, and decision inside a defined boundary.

  1. 01

Do the selected configuration items match the intended security baseline?

  2. 02

Which observed settings create the greatest practical concern?

  3. 03

What should the endpoint owner change or validate next?

Delivery framework

Controlled from intake through handoff.

Staff time includes preparation, analysis, customer interaction, and reporting—not only meeting time.

  1. 01

    Name the device and objective

Confirm the exact endpoint, review purpose, platform context, and evidence boundaries.

  2. 02

    Agree the evidence

Select up to five supported configuration artifacts, screenshots, exports, or demonstrated settings.

  3. 03

    Review the configuration

Assess the supplied evidence against the agreed objective and document limitations.

  4. 04

    Hand off guidance

Provide prioritized configuration observations and practical next-step notes.

What you receive

Artifacts that preserve scope, evidence, and next ownership.

Exact output reflects the accepted scope and available evidence. Every package retains the boundaries needed to interpret the result responsibly.

01

Evidence inventory

The exact device and configuration items included in the review.

02

Configuration observations

Staff-reviewed notes tied to the supplied evidence and intended outcome.

03

Priority guidance

A sequenced set of changes or validations for the responsible endpoint owner.

04

Delivery notes

Scope limitations, assumptions, and next steps retained with the review record.

Scope record

What is included—and what is not.

Payment alone does not authorize access, testing, or production change. Named scope, consent, access, timing, and any safety conditions are confirmed before activity begins.

INCLUDED
  • Review of up to five agreed evidence items
  • Prioritized configuration guidance
  • Staff delivery notes for the named device
REQUIRED BEFORE DELIVERY

One named device and an agreed evidence set. Any live configuration change needs separately contracted approval.

NOT INCLUDED

Agent deployment, EDR or MDR, continuous monitoring, live Windows or macOS collection, incident response, retesting and ongoing device management are not included.

Service window: Intake is due within 30 days after payment. The service term runs for 90 days after scope acceptance, subject to the accepted order terms. These are service windows—not guaranteed turnaround times.

Good fit when

The package matches the question and boundary.

  • One important device needs a focused configuration second opinion
  • An administrator can supply up to five agreed evidence items
  • The customer wants guidance without granting live administrative control

Choose a tailored scope when

The requirement extends beyond the package.

  • You need fleet-wide endpoint assessment or management
  • You need incident response, malware analysis, EDR, or MDR
  • You want TechGeeks to implement changes within this package

Service questions

Practical answers before you proceed.

01Does TechGeeks connect to the device?

Not as a default part of this package. The review uses agreed evidence supplied or demonstrated for one named device. Any live access or change requires separate explicit approval and scope.

02What can count as a configuration-evidence item?

Examples can include a supported configuration export, policy view, screenshot set, security-tool status, encryption state, or another agreed artifact. The exact evidence list is confirmed during intake.

03Is remediation or retesting included?

No. The package provides prioritized guidance and delivery notes. Implementation and later verification require separate approval.
